S-Type 2.7 TDI 2004 Auto 138K Miles
Hi everyone, I have recently bought the above vehicle, and I am the third owner in its lifetime to date.
However I have had the gearbox lock up in 5th Gear on two occassions, and the on another occasion the ABS warning light has come on.
I am a retired mechanic, and have checked the brake sensors and the braking system and all seems in order. If I stop for more than 10 minutes the faults seem to clear and it can go days before they repeat.
There are no fault codes on the engine CPU but I don't have the diagnostics to check other fields.
Any Ideas?
