Welcome to the Forum! I enjoyed looking at the photos of your E-Type, especially since my E-Type is just coming out of a comprehensive cosmetic restoration looking a bit like a faux Lightweight.

Welcome to the forum skyhigh,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the E-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello Shigeo,

what a BEAUT!!!

I'm from the year 1956, as a boy it was my dream.
Late seventies I was fishing and earning serious money, E's were up for grabs, but I didnt dare leave an E on the quay for weeks on end, so I bought an XJ.
Loved that car (series 2, never let me down!!!!), the E dream is over for me now, but yours is a very fine example, unique in more than one way.
Always preferred Sixes anyway, lighter, bit of a tune, and GO!

Best of luck with your beautiful machine, gun her down the roads!

Regards, Haddock
