Hello everyone,
I recently acquired a very nice 1993 XJ6 Vanden Plas (XJ40) with 93K on the clock.
I left the UK in 1967 and this is my first UK car since moving to this side of the Atlantic hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience.
I have another hobby in collecting and restoring classic steel bikes, some of which can be seen on my FLICKR site at this link:.

I worked in the aircraft industry for 51 years before retiring last year.
My wife and I recently moved to Skagit County in Washington, currently we are enjoying the peace and tranquility (+rain) away from city life.

Being new to the breed, I would appreciate if anyone can recommend a decent mechanic anywhere between Seattle and Vancouver BC who is familiar with the XJ40.

Tony
Burlington WA

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj40-xj81-25/ to the XJ40 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northwest-64/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
