Hi! I recently purchased a 1997 xk8. There has been a lot o f little things not working but recently the transmission broke. I decided to rebuild it my self since I am retired and have the time. I removed the beast, cleaned and now in the reassembly phase. The car body was recently repainted no rust, it looks great. I have been using this forum as a reference on repairs and advice. It has been great. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
