Hi,

my name is Bernd?

I live in Germany, so sorry for my poor english

My car is a 2000 S-Type 4.0. Mileage 180.000 km

I bought it last week for less money from a friend.
The car is more a hobby for me. (Like a 4-Wheel Motorbike)

Of course there is a little bit of work to do. The biggest part will be the "Transmission failure" that appears sporadic. The rest is more ore less "beauty care"

Welcome to the forum Bernd,

No problem with your English.

Follow Norri's link to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
