Hello everybody,
since I was a little child the vehicles from jaguar were always my favorite. I fell in love with cars due to the glorious body style of the XJ220.
Unfortunately a XJ 220 is slightly out of budget. But I own a beatiful XJR MY2000 since February last year. It has all available factory options exept the sunroof and rear seat heating.
Some info about me: I live in Germany near Stuttgart (the City were Mercedes and Porsche are located).
I'm 32 years old and I think that's the best age for my first Jaguar, since I can now afford it without the fear of getting bankrupt if something is going to break.
Since then I own the XJR, I came in touch with the electronics of those cars (especially X100 & X308).
I gathered all available information and bought an WDS, IDS (VCM, VMM) and an PDU with MPA.
It turned out, that I have a lot of fun with the diagnotic systems since I have a passion for older tech and computers, too.
Due to my job in the IT business, the whole topic is nothing strange to me.
I'm also working on a 100% Plug'n'Play Bluetooth and Digital Radio extension for the X308.
Hopefully I can report some progress on this topic soon.
I will either sell kits of it or make it completely open accessible, so that everybody can build one and can even improve it. I'm not sure about this so far - maybe it will be a mix of both options.
I'm looking forward for intresting discussions about the cars and the diag systems!
(If anybody finds grammatical errors, I'm happy if you could point it out - I'm trying to improve my english skills with the participation in this forum, as well!)

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
