New Member/Hi To All.
Hi to everyone out there in Jaguar land.
Just joined this site after recently purchasing a 1995 xjs 2+2 convertible in black.
I have been looking/desiring one for a while and found this 2 owner, 80k Arizona car, last owned by a lady realtor for eight years, in which she covered 4000 miles, (it was a second car). The vehicle is in very good condition save for a couple of squeaks and rattles and some basic servicing, which will be looked at in due course.
A little about me.
I am british in origin, but have lived in the US (Arizona) for some time. I have a 1979 mg convertible over here and a 1980 mgb gt V8 back in blighty. I think the attraction to this era is from my misspent youth in the late 70s & 80s. Proficient enough with the spanners to do almost all of the maintenance myself, which keeps costs down, but find the knowledge and experience in these forums an invaluable resource. Also lucky enough to have an appreciative and understanding wife, which certainly helps. I look forward to being an avid reader of the daily posts and will try to ensure that I look in the archives etc. before asking a question to save repeating it.
Hope this gives a little of my back ground, I look forward to interesting and informative reading/comments in the posts.
Happy and safe motoring to all out there !!!!

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
AZ probably the best place to keep an MG. I had two and they dissolve in the rain over here!

Hello,
Congratulations on your 'new' Jaguar!
I suppose one might expect a few rattles from a 20 year old car, but you'll really enjoy how our XJS section helps you out with those. Some *Very* knowledgeable people hang out there.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
