Greetings, names Kevin and let me start by saying how much of a help this forums been already. Ive been looking high and low around NYC for clean, early XJR, and of course my search for information on them led me here. I generally come from the 4x4 side of things with wheels but something made me really take a liking to these Jags. Ive test driven a few but its hard to find something with the right mix of mileage, maintenance history and price. So although Im not an owner yet hopefully it wont be long. Thank you for all the info here, especially the buyers check list by BSinister and all the manual/tech book downloads in the how to section, its surprising sometimes how hard good info is to come by.

Well after what seemed like an eternity of searching and a hell of a long distance negotiation, I finally found my Jaaaaaaag.
The first time I saw it in person, along with my first vehicle ever in the background.

Just as pretty in the daylight.

Ill be diving into the engine and other bits shortly, but shes pretty much perfect to begin with, especially considering 130000 miles and 15 years of age.
