Hello all,
I am a huge car/truck/Dirtbike/anything with wheels enthusiast here to learn about cars I may have interest in owning in the near future. I am in the market for a new toy very soon and wanting to read up on as much info as possible. I love to build up cars and have a lot of pride in ownership of anything I own! Currently have a decked out 2015 Tacoma, Stock 2017 Mercedes C300, and my fun car is a 2009 R56 Mini Cooper S 6 speed. Looking heavily for a F Type Manual and wanting to know everything about them! The cooper is getting replaced with either A : Lotus Elise, Lotus Evora, Jaguar F Type but it has to be manual (base or S), or Porsche Cayman S. I was heavily looking at Alfa 4C as well but it’s hard for me to give up manual in an enthusiast car and they have some pretty crazy maintenance items, bolt tightening on the CF tub etc etc that have me a little bit sketched out. Any experience shared or reading material would be greatly appreciated!

Yep we be from the same general area. You're just west of Frankfort. I had an Uncle, Don Murphy that lived in Frankfort. Very nice area. Kankakee has pretty well tanked, since I left there in the early 80's. Everybody moved to Bradley, and Bourbonnais. And now are swelling into Manteno. Leaving Kankakee to the less desireables. Good Luck with the search for a F Type. Back when I was 18 (1976) I worked in Lagrange Illinois for a dealership called Continental Motors. They sold, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Triumph, and Mg's. It was a very long time ago I wonder if they are still in business? Good Luck
