I have had a 90 XJS V12 Conv. since 2000. I owned a SIII XJ6 for six years before replacing it with a 99 XJ8. I have a 59 MKIX saved from becoming a parts car that had a Chevy inline 6, a 2 speed Powerglide transmission and 58 Buick-Pontiac-Olds differential installed. One previous owner decided to make the car into a dirt track racer.

It will never be concourse. I am fitting a V-12 and 5-speed manual. At least it will be JAG powered. I have decided to keep the differential and fitted disc brakes at the rear.

The car sat on blocks for over 20 years. None of the original parts removed were with the car. It is a slow process.

Previously I owned Triumphs and an MG.
