Default new member intro

Hi, just joined up after a long time viewing your forum. I brought my XK8 to France when I retired 3 years ago, have had some great times in it here. Driving in France with Louisiana plates on a Jag gets a lot of looks! After a gargantuan struggle with French beaurocracy, have just acquired French plates. (they made me add a "European style" manufacturers plaque and I had to stamp the VIN number on the chassis too). Anyway, that is all behind me now. There are not many XK8 owners here, near Carcassonne, have only seen two in three years. Maybe I'll find some more thru the forum. Cheers y'all.

It seems like every government today has a "gargantuan bureaucracy." At least you and your Jag survived.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
