New Member Intro
Hi all,
I am Mr. Vijay S. Shah from India and live in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. My late father had imported in 1949 and Jaguar Mark V, Right hand drive, 4 door saloon. The Chassis No. is 620494.The car has been in the family ever since. For quite some time the car was not looked after and it went into ruins. We have restored (partly) the car so that it is on road once again and will continue to refine the same.
I look forward to making new friends and getting assistance from many members of this forum in restoring my Mark V.

Thank you all who have sent and very warm welcome messages. It is a pleasure to see the enthusiasm from all over the planet. I an still learning how to reduce the size of the photos and the post from Jim tells me how to do so. In Feb. 2016 we had an occasion to speed test MK V at Budha International Formula ! race tract at Nodia, India and the old lady did a speed of 70 MPH.
