Default New member intro

Hi all,

Just a quick intro.

I have recently evacuated my mum together with my dad's 1995 XJ6 from the bushfires in the NSW Southern Highlands.

Sadly we have discovered that the rats have been feasting on electrical conduit and plastic / rubber fittings.

As the car was my Dad's pride and joy, I will be embarking on a rectification project! (Hence the user name!)

No doubt I will need the resources / brains of the forums to help me.

My dad had full workshop manuals, unfortunately they were lost in the fire so I'm starting from scratch.

Looking forward to getting this done.

Welcome to the forums 4dad,

Good to hear some good news out of the devastation on the east coast.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/ to the X300 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Good luck with your project and enjoy the forums.

Hello,
I'm so sorry the Fire took everything. But you and your mother are OK, and that's most important.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
