New member introduction.
Hey guys. i'm a Brit living in the States NYC and being somewhat patriotic decided to get myself a Jag..Had a couple of old XJ's back in the days. Back when they were so much easier to work on yourself. Anyhow i now have a 2009 XF Supercharged. I got a great deal so i took the plunge even after researching the car and finding out they can be awkward. Ha the past 3 years have been interesting. I soon found out that Jaguar are not too forthcoming with advice nor info regarding many issues the car has so doing the work yourself is daunting. I have to say that i have gotten much done myself from this forum. I have gained so much knowledge that i can't wait to share with others in need..RJ

Hello, RJ,
I've learned almost Any car less than 20 years old can be "awkward!"
For that reason I've decided to stick to "Elderly" cars where I can actually see the engine, touch the engine, and name everything I can touch.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
