Hi All,
I have owned a 2007 XKR coupe since new.
I live in Perth. Heat (35 degrees Celsius plus) and English cars don't mix, I know. I have had three Range Rovers to prove it.

Beautiful car the XKR, though recently a few niggling problems. I am addressing them one at a time.
Currently the 'amber engine malfunction' light has just started to come on. It goes into my mechanic to be seen to next week.
Very rough on cold start. Four months until annual service.
Other that, sensational vehicle.

Welcome again Yinney,

This is your original Intro thread:

Sorry to hear the XKR is misbehaving. Mine could do with borrowing some of that Perth heat as there's a foot of snow here today.

Welcome from humid Melbourne! 34 here tomorrow (93 F for our USA friends).
Sure gets hot there but the Triumph Stags in the club run okay in the Perth heat so the XKR would **** it in!

Just a beautifully designed car from Callum. It's got classic status all over it and the 4.2 versions without all the later lairy bits of some of the later cars do have smoother lines.
Hard to fault the the F Type but the XK is a much more harmonious and balanced design in my eyes; as well as two extra seats!
