Just bought a 2004 X-Type, 3.0 Auto, Black on Black, Nav, 62,000 miles. Beautiful car and fun to drive. First Jaguar, hopefully not the last. After visiting this Forum several times, I thought you experts out there might be able to help with a couple of problems. I'll post them soon.

I traded a '98 Acura TL with too many problems to fix for the X-Type, and hope to get another 100,000 miles out of it. I enjoy fine cars, also own a 2006 Mercedes CLK 350 Convertible. In my younger days I owned a '65 GTO Convertible and a '68 427 Corvette. Wish I still had them.

Welcome to the forum.

Good to have you with us.

I'll bet you do wish you still had the 60's cars.

Welcome Bud,

You've already found your way to the X-Type section and I'm sure the guys there will be able to help with the problems.

Same as you - the older I get, the longer the list of 'cars I wish I still had' becomes.

Graham

The 60s cars were great fun, real pick-up wagons, but I also remember the "shop time" and glad I don't rely on one for transportation today. The Corvette had awesome power and a top speed of 138mph at redline. I drove it 140 several times. What most people don't remember or realize is that there were a lot fewer cars on the road in 1968.
