Worked for Henley's, main UK Jag distributor in 1968 when the XJ6 was first introduced. I remember the teething problems. I've always been intrigued by the Jag marque. I just purchased what promises to be the best of the line - a 1995 XJ6; we'll see. My dad had an SS before it became Jaguar - a most unusual vehicle.

You're a very long way from Henley's in your present location. It'll be interesting to hear your recollections of the early Series I problems.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
