I have been looking on line at Jaguars. Something in the 2005 year range.I don't know which years or models to stay away from or what is a good or bad deal. I use to own Cadillacs and then went to Mercedes diesel for bio-diesel but my 85 300 TD got totaled so now I'm car shopping again and Jaguars look interesting.
Any insight ya'll can share will be much appreciated.

Thanks and by the way I'm in Florida

Sounds like you are looking at the right years. Very good cars with few headaches, and "fully depreciated!" I love a Vanden Plas if you are looking at sedans. They are the bomb! And an XK8 or XKR would be awesome if it's just "two" for the ride!

Welcome to the forum, Phantomcadillac!

Any 2005 Jaguar will make you a happy driver. The choice is up to you.

If you're one of those Florida drivers who camps in the left lane at 10mph below the posted limit, look for a nice 4-door with the long wheel base (XJ8L) and the most economical engine size.

On the other hand, if your one of those Florida drivers who spends a lot of time in the right lane passing cars that are camped in the left lane, check out the 2-door XK range and the supercharged XJR 4-door sedans.

You really can't go wrong. Your '05 Jag is just waiting for you to decide which one best suits your driving dreams!

Cheers,

Don
