Hello fellow Jaguar Forums members,
My family bought a 1988 Jaguar XJ6, ever since I was little I would always tell my family that I wanted Jaguar! Well it happened and it comes with its pros and cons like anything else but I am also very curious to get more info on how to maintain it and fix the problems that comes with having a beautiful car
and I have a couple. So for the following days to come, you will see me asking a lot of "embarrassing" questions regarding our Jaguar. So please bear with me as I learn things I never thought I could possibly have done starting today.
(Whoa thats alot of I's)
Thank you guys/gals

Hello, Splinter,
In my considered opinion, the Xj6 series are the Most Beautiful Jaguars ever to come out of Brown's Lane. Everyone knows Instantly and Instinctively, THAT is a Jaguar! It can be mistaken for No Other car ever made.
I only got my first Jaguar in September 2013 and I'm still learning what everything is supposed to do. You'll learn too. Everyone has to start somewhere and there's a first time for everyone.
I'll look for you over in our Xj6 section.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Splinter Chief,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 Series I, II & III tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
