New Member from MALTA
Hello to everyone. Managed to get myself a 1987 XJ-S V12, 5.3L, Convertible and LHD that was supplied to the German market. I am pretty sure that I'll have a lot of questions to ask as I like to work on the car myself.
Cheers to you all !!
Cheers to you all !!
Welcome to the forums JAG530,
Good to have you with us. Don't you drive on the left in Malta?
From time to time we have discussions on importing/exporting Jaguars. The process and ease with which this can be done varies greatly. Be interesting to hear your experience importing from Germany.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Yes we still do drive on the left. But not much of a problem driving a LHD here. I am used to it having another two American Classics in the form of '64 Buick Riviera and a '66 Ford Thunderbird convertible.
