Hello, my name is Phil Kirk, I just bought my first Jag and thought I would join the forum, it looks like a great place for exchanging info. I am recently retired from a career of engineering, manufacturing and consulting. I have driven English cars throughout the years including a 1960 Austin Healy 1006 and a beautiful '65 3000, a '71 TR6 an old MG and a Triumph Spitfire. I also had a Triumph Trident, and a BSA Hornet motorcycle.

I have a (so far) near perfect 2001 S Type 4.0 that is fully loaded. I look forward to making the few repairs it needs over the next month of so.

Welcome to the forum Phil,

That's a good selection of British cars you've owned.

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US MidWest Region section by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Welcome indeed, Phil: and greetings from the Midwest Region. Great to have such a long-standing British car enthusiast on board! I'm sure you'll find lots of friendships and friendly advice here to keep your new s-type running for years to come.

Cheers!
Scott
