New Member from New Orleans
My name is Mark, and I'm delighted to join this active Jaguar enthusiast community. My hometown is New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm glad to be a member of this Jaguar forum community of like-minded people with a common passion for the brand. My lifelong passion for these majestic felines has recently reached a very significant milestone.
In just the past week, I acquired a 2008 Jaguar XKR Portfolio Edition, and it's an absolute beauty. It has only been on the road for 50,000 miles. As I drove her to New Orleans, it was a pleasure to be behind the wheel. The intoxicating blend of power, grace, and unrivaled British elegance has me hooked, and I can't help but revel in the driving experience.
My love affair with Jaguars began long ago when I was a teenager, captivated by the beauty of a Mk2 that I spotted parked in a neighborhood driveway. It was love at first sight, and ever since then, I've been enamored by the iconic Jaguar badge and the rich heritage it represents. I've followed the brand over the years.
Now, as a proud owner of the XKR Portfolio Edition, I believe it's only fitting that I immerse myself in a community that shares the same adoration for these remarkable machines. I am eager to learn from the wealth of knowledge and expertise within this community. Whether it's seeking advice on maintenance or upgrades for my XKR, I look forward to being an active participant and contributing member of this forum.
Beyond the automotive realm, I am an avid sailor on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, where I sail all year.
Once again, I am thrilled to join this forum and become a part of this incredible community.

Hello, Mark,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
And a Very nice looking example it is!
50 000 miles is just now well loosened up and broken in. You should Easily get another 150 000 out of it.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
