I recently bought my Wife a 2006 X Type and she LOVES it!! I am a Honda Master Tech and got the vehicle fairly cheap through our dealership. We replaced her 03 Ford Taurus with this car and although they are kind of the same car they are nowhere near the same. I love it as well but me being a mechanic and it having white leather I am not allowed to drive it.... Go figure!! Unfortunately I have no service history on it because it was traded in from 3 states away so I'm here to find out what type of maintenance I should perform on it as it has 115K on it. I love all types of vehicles and can fix pretty much everything from a faucet to a Ferrari so I feel like this website will be a good match for me. I will answer any questions to the best of my ability and hope to have some of mine answered as well.

I appreciate the information and look forward to becoming a (Hopefully) valued member. The only reason that we own a Jaguar is because I needed gas in my old Subaru and didn't feel like stopping so I took it off the lot and My Wife wondered what kind of car that "weird" key belonged to. lol.

You bought your wife a Jaguar! What a Prince! (That's how I got mine.)
And she Loves it! Who Wouldn't?

I don't let husband drive my Jag either. He scuffs the carpets all around and doesn't put the seat back where it belongs and he fiddles with the mirrors.

I still get to drive it to work one more time to change her fluids and align it but I'm pretty sure that's the last time for a while.
