I'm looking forward to enjoying the forums and tech areas. I've acquired a 2010 Jaguar XKR, black with tan interior. Having once owned an XJS convertible, I made a note to myself that the next Jag I would own would be a coupe, not a drop top. Being 6'3" tall, I just fit into the XKR and am still looking for ways to add another inch backwards to the seat. For now I'll just sit upright a bit more than I like. I love the the power and the handling of the jag, which I often use when going down the mountain to Phoenix on weekends. It is by far, the most powerful car I've ever owned and the power is almost instant. Am interested in finding more Jag owners in Arizona I can meet up with. Marty

Welcome again to the forum Marty,

See the reply I gave to your original Intro in November for a link to the US Southwest Region to find other members in AZ.

It's in post #5 there.

I also searched the SW US Regional forum and found input for several in the Phoenix area.

I would like to review the feedback for Falcon Works here in Tucson. When looking at the expense of an engine and transmission rebuild, I would like to make sure I am making the right choice.

Marty,

Are you looking for a 'sanity check' on an estimate or quote? If so, a few members in X150 forum with the same model and F-Type or X351 with the same engine could have direct experience of rebuilds.

Jeff in Tucson is the member I was referencing he hasn't been around in a while but you can check his (lengthy) thread here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...kit-usa-82598/
I expect he'd be relatively easy to contact in Tucson if you wished.
