Default New member purchase a 2004 jaguar type x 2.5

Just purchased the car and sadly broke down 30 minutes after purchase was running fantastic until it would seem to me that something in the clutch went out was driving the car then all of a sudden it’s like it wouldn’t go into any gear and even when the cars running I can put it into any gear without using the clutch but it’s like it doesn’t acknowledge it’s in gear doesn’t wanna kill the motor when I do it. Just bought the car unsure what it could be was leaking something I noticed so maybe hydraulic fluid leaked out of the resavoir? Not really sure would appreciate any help.

Default Continued..

also bought the car without a stereo but had an aftermarket stereo that came with the car so I looked up the wiring diagram and went to town but after I wired everything up still had 3 wires and 3 plugs with kno where to go and the radio didn’t even turn on. So unsure if I had the wrong wiring diagram or if I’m missing something. Help is appreciated thanks.
