I'm signing up because my 2005 XJ VDP has a pain in the boot, i.e., a latch problem in the luggage compartment. It's great to see all the cooperative help here!

My local Jag mechanic is great, and I am no mechanic, but I'm frugal and don't mind trying simple stuff (outside of the engine compartment, wheels and suspension)! So I posted a q re: the latch problem, and hope I don't screw things up trying to fix it. Thanks!
