Default New Member in Southern California - 2012 XK Black Pack

I've been lurking around here for the past few months while I was trying to decide how to move forward with buying my dream car. I am very thankful for the forum and the great advice I see people giving. Hopefully I will become a helpful member of the forum as I experience the joy of owning what I would consider some of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I'm loving my car. I picked it up on Sunday after my local dealership announced some amazing incentives and financing programs. Needless to say they moved me off the fence (I was thinking of purchasing a 2010), but the deal I negotiated put me in the car at not much more than the price of a pre-owned car.

So let me know what you think of the color combo. The color is actually midnight black (the pictures don't show the metallic component of the paint) with black pack wheels and the interior is black with tan with tan stitching.

Thanks for having such a great forum. Looking forward to spending some time here.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
I'm on the fence with the black wheels, I think I'd need to see them in the flesh.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

I would have never thought to do it. The pictures don't do it justice. Everyone that sees the car says the wheels make it look amazing. I totally agree. My wife had seen the XK in pictures, but when she saw this car with the gloss black wheels and the black pack trim she got onboard with the purchase. You should check it out. Even looking at the picture I think they just look ok in photos but look amazing "in the flesh".

Talk to you later.
