Hello all, just bought my first Jaguar on Saturday, it's a 2000 XK8 Coupe, 4.0ltr with 50510 miles on the clock. I really like the look of the car. I have never seen one locally and the design is timeless, WOW what a car. I'm 68 years old and used to do all my mechanical work myself, however old man time is catching up with me. Your forum is the best, your assistance in much appreciated and needed, I have many questions and when I need answers I
will come to this forum, when I found out about the tensioner problem I panicked and said what have I gotten myself into but after reading some threads I feel that all is not lost. I will continue to use this forum and be very greatful for the help, knowledge you all share. Happy Holidays to everybody.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
