Good evening all, New member here. I bought a 2012 XJ L Portfolio about 7 months ago. First cat and I'm in love. She just recently sprung a coolant leak and according to the local shop, it's a hose up under the intake manifold. I'm wondering if anyone here has replaced this themselves on the newer models? The shop wants about $1300, I'm assuming most of that is labor. Fighting with the warranty company since they said that this is not covered (killing me). Looking forward to any advice and or expertise. I am fairly mechanically inclined. Just wonder if this would be worth picking the car up and doing this myself or cough up the $1300 and try to get the warranty folks to reimburse me.
Thanks in advance.
