Default New member XK 8 convertible in Seattle

My wife and I purchased a 2000 ruby red XK8 at a charity auction...sight unseen. 14,000 miles and had been kept in a climate controlled garage in Palm Springs. Now she's in the Seattle rain but being used!

Default Low Engine Coolant message

We get an intermittent "Low Engine Coolant" message light and a red warning light. There is definitely no problem with the coolant.

Also, today, the car started running rough, an amber warning light came on and we got two different error messages. One said "Engine Safe Mode". The other message said "No Trac Available".

What gives?

+1 to Richard's advice.

These are regular issues with a low use XK8.
