Hi Richard,

Yes, the GTC did have them stumped but it was treated with the usual Gallic shrug. I got a certificate, nicely coloured and embossed from FFVE which is a substitute CoC and this along with the other reams of paper has satisfied the Sous Prefecture. I did try the DRIRE website but I never got any response to my emails. I have ordered a CoC from Jaguar which I hope to get soon, I will the get a CT and then back to the Sous Prefecture with all the documentation. The young lady in Sarlat is very helpful despite the language difficulties, my French is not the best but it is improving.

Thanks for the advice.
Regards

Matthew

Matthew,

That means the following didn't get through:

Driver's Handbook Supplement 1997-99
Vehicle Care Handbook 1997-98 to VIN 024786
Passport to Service

I'll try resending to your GMail address.

Shame you didn't join the forum a couple of weeks earlier. I was in Saumur and it might have been easier to drive on down to Sarlat with them

Graham

You are welcome.

I'm a telephone and turn up at the office type, with the vehicle, just in case.

Hope it all works out.

Matthew,

I've resent the three PDF's to your GMail account and haven't hadn't any rejection responses which looks promising.

That lot should give you plenty of reading over the weekend.
