Hi everybody from Eastern Europe!

I think the xk8 is one of the most beautifully drawn cars ever, i was and am aware of the reliability challenges but today i will make the big step.

just went to a local Jag dealer (i am based in Bucharest, Romania) with a 1998 Jaguar xk8, 199000 kms, mint condition for its age. the tech review disclosed usual problems for its age (bushes, rods, steering box) and a gearbox error. however the owner is a friend and the gearbox works perfectly so i am willing to take that risk, also the price being a bargain.

hope to fill a lot of the threads related to photos in this forum and not a lot on the technical failure ones!

so wish me luck and as soon as i'll get pics i'll post. for the moment i am confined in the house due to a knee surgery and outside there's ice
