Default New Menber

As a new member I just wanted to say I appreciate this site. Have owned 3 jags. and love the old body style like my 2004 XJ VP. Really do not like new body styles last few years. I think a big mistake getting too far away from what used to be a classic design.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. Looks like you did this.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Welcome to the Forum. Nice to have another member from the DFW Metroplex area. Please be sure to share your Jag maintenance and service experiences, good or bad; Jag owners who live here are always eager to know of dependable service providers. This is especially important for us after our Jag warranty expires.

Welcome to the forum Joe,

I think a Texas meet must be on the cards, we seem to have a lot of members there.

Check out this web site www. europeansautotech.com. Located in Plano Texas 3953 N. Central EXPY. Shop Phone 972 322- 9941. Ask for Sergy who has been there many years. He is a Russian and a little hard to understand but on two seperate visits now has provided honest and reasonable repairs. First was in December 2010 when my air suspension light came on. $54.00 to adjust air shocks. Last was my recent white smoke from exhaust. $114.00. They do not offer a loaner car and are a little slow to get to your car. On both occassions my car was there a few days.
I am considering shopping for an extended warranty as I will probably keep my 2004 with only 30K miles for a few more years. Only drive it about 1,500 miles a year.
All the Best!

Default Extended Warranty

I would appreciate any feedback on cost you have received to buy an extended warranty from a reliable source. I plan to keep my 2004 XJ/VP and would like to do some research on what it would cost to have 100% peace of mind after just going through what I thought could have been a major repair. Plan to contact a few known sources here in the Dallas, Tx area this week.
Thanks!
