New Old Guy
New to this Forum....old to Jaguars. Or maybe just plain old (hint: my first new car had a non-synchro first gear). Still have the 1966 E-Type that we bought in 1971. It's been the subject of an exceedingly long DIY restoration and is finally making noises about getting back on the road again. We also have a 2008 S-Type bought almost new - those final S-Types had some rather unique features (stuff from the "R") and came only one way (fully loaded). Look forward to slinging the hash around here.

Aiken is a unique small town, with a thriving downtown - decent restaurants and pubs within a couple of blocks area. Lots of people from "elsewhere". Even a microbrewery - Aiken Brewing Co. at 140 Laurens St. SW. In the same vein - Up Your Alley Restaurant at 222 The Alley has a hoppin' bar. Interesting food at Tako-Sushi, at 210 The Alley. Can't miss just wandering around and trying a place. Unfortunately, we are off to visit our Kids in Kalifohnia.
