Just visited this site for the first time in eons and had to reregister for some reason. Thought I had better post here before somebody thinks I am a totally new member that has not bothered to do an intro. Anyways, I have a 55 S-type 4.2 V8 that I have owned for about 18 months. It is very naughty. In the last month it has eaten a water pump, split it's thermostat housing and now destroyed an ABS wheel sensor. Am now scampering off to the s-type section to post about the wheel sensor as I found some strange happenings...

Thanks triple g, I did not realise there was such a ruling. Strangely enough my car has been so reliable that I have had little need to come here in the last year. I am paying for it now though :-)

A reliable Jaguar. That would certainly have been worth a post.
