dear all,

coming back to the forum,
XJ sport 3.2 manual transmission MY1995

I had first joined at 15.05.2014, as panagiotis,
I was active for a long time, and then forgot the car , had to build our house and no time/money for the car.
When we moved to the house, I went back to my loves, motorcycles... Owning a garage is a great issue !
That time I had another mail address and password, which, of course, I don't remember today, so I re-register.

I'm still on motorcycles, but I gave the car, OK it's my wife's car, as a present to my younger son, so I decided to re-enter the forum.

The car didn't move the last 8+ years, and I'm planning to put it back on the road again.

happy new year to all,

drive and be safe all !!!

Welcome back to the forum. Your Jaguar would be a pretty rare Cat in the US. What type of motorcycles capture your attention? I'm partial to older European bikes. Moto Guzzi, Ducati and BMW but grew up on Triumphs.

Greetings [pana],

Welcome back to JF . . . and what a great intro story to whet our appetites. Then the car! The XJ Sport is a brilliant platform, but being manual is like the cherry on top. Rare indeed. I love my XJ8 Sport and you will find plenty of kindred souls in the relevant sub-forum.

Cheers and best wishes,

Thank you all !!

I drive the car, illegally (no taxes paid), once per month at the surroundings of the village I live, a tour of about 100Km, it's a great car indeed !!
Up to today I have changed the disks, the hoses to the disks, the clutch/flywheel/bearing and of course the consumables.
The car has 190.000Km
I have to re-dive deep in the forum for some issues I'm facing.

I love my Honda CB500, a friend's Ducati 998R which he doesn't ride , and my son's Beta 300.
The Honda is 25 years old with 204.000Km.

all the above I maintain my own, except tires exchanges and balance radiator, a lot of time is needed for this task, a lot off.

Be and drive safe !!

"radiator" is out of the point........., something I typed and deleted, but missed to delete the radiator 😊

so, gentlemen hello,
ten years ago, when I was dealing with the car intensive, there where sites that you can pick up spare parts through drawings/sketches
which are such sites today, I hate looking in photos, I prefer the real thing, drawings

any help/proposal is welcome !

Hello again, Pana.

The parts diagrams you seek are available either via the Stickies at the start of the XJ8 sub-forum (look for SNG Barrett' s catalogue) or search for the XJ8 EPC (electronic parts catalogue) or head off to member Gus' resources at . . .
<http://www.jagrepair.com>

Other resources you should have on hand are the XJ8 Owners Handbook (Sticky), the XJ8 Workshop Manual on CD (eBay). Not sure if your early model has OBDII port but, if so, I would add a code reader. Even the inexpensive ELM dongle when coupled with the Torque phone app, can take the quesswork out of many issues.

I hope this helps.
Cheers and best wishes.
