Hello all, this fine forum and members has convinced me to purchase a Jag! Should be in the driveway next week, a silver over camel coupe 08 XK with 41k miles. I was leery about the maintenance/repair on this caliber of car, but after several hours of reading here, I'm sure I can handle it. I'm somewhat of a restorer (mostly American offroad and classics) so this is different and exciting.

Maintenance/repair of any car can be daunting unless you take it one step at a time. Jaguars are no different. There are certain principles common to all cars, Jaguar simply tweaked some of them.

Other than standard maintenance, I've had less work to do on my XK coupe than any other Jaguar I've owned in the last forty years. They are definitely getting more reliable!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
