Hello I just bought a new to me 07 xk convertible with just 26k miles on her. I must confess I wasn't looking to buy a jag but when I saw her it was love at first sight and then when I drove her it turned into lust! unfortunately I'm leaving for a week long trip before I get to drive her around again but I think having something special to get back to makes business trips like this one fun. I hope to learn as much as I can about her from all the great minds on this forum, and when I get back I'll post some pictures.

Very nice!! My next purchase will be a two door Jag as they are the best GT cars out there.

Hello and welcome,

For a car like that, I'd have cancelled the trip!

Graham,
Trust me I almost did but it was a business trip and everything had allready been paid for otherwise i wouldn't have bothered.
Now I'm trying to plan a nice road trip to the wine country around here, should be a nice couple hour drive with the top down and the wife smiling away as her hair blows around.
This car begs to be driven and it boggles my mind why there are so many out there with very little mileage on them?

I have the exact color scheme in my 08 XK, absolutely beautiful. Only difference is I have the two tone interior. Good luck and get ready to deal with newly jealous neighbors and friends...

Beautiful car, and beautiful setting. Nice pictures! Are you on the coast, or is that a river behind you? We'll look forward to hearing more about your experiences and drives.

Good looking car.

I thought for a minute that you were in St Nazaire.

Funny you should mention the jealousy issues... We have what we thought was a good friend get her feelings hurt cause we bought our car the same day she decided to buy her new car (not a jag!)! We are still scratching our heads on that one, But to each their own I guess?

The water in the picture is of the bay the actual coast is a few mre miles east of where the picture was taken, but some pictures by the beach are next on the agenda... If only it would stop raining every other day here! Lol
