Default New Owner, maybe?

Hello from Indiana. Found this forum and grateful for all the info. LOTS to digest. Owned a 2005 350Z Grand Touring roadster for ten years. Loved the car and had virtually no problems with it other than tires. But that's normal on a Z. Sold it a couple months back and have had sports car withdrawal symptoms ever since. So now I have my eye on a 2014 F Type S with only 17,000 miles.. Drool is coming from my mouth. Everything I have researched tells me this is one fantastic car. I will be driving the 2014 for the first time on Saturday. Cannot wait. But here is my question and hoping I will get some honest answers. Like I said my 350Z was a wonderful car to drive and own. Basically because it gave me no problems with anything. Sold it with 60,000 miles. Fourteen years old. Jaguar doesn't have the greatest rep with reliability. So I guess I would like to hear how happy people have been with the F Type. Pros and cons. The nearest Jag dealer will be 75 miles from where I live. Don't want to be wearing a path to get problems fixed. Thanks for any input. I REALLY want this car! Tom

Welcome to the forums Tom,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum with this question so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums and I hope the advice your get here and the F-Type check out OK.

Graham

Welcome to the Forums.

NO experience with the F Type, BUT, any used car is only as good as the how it was treated, cared for, by the 1st owner. Some are GOOD, some, NOT so.

Good luck.
