Default New "S" Type guy in Atlanta

Hi guys-

I've been lurking here the last few days since I made a decision to but an S Type so I figured I should register and get involved. I currently drive an AMG C55 but also have a bunch of other stuff in the barn.

Current project cars are a 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL, a 1929 Model A (LHD!) and a 1960 MGA. I have also owned in the past several varieties of BMWs as well as a variety of British makes including more MG's, Triumphs and a couple of Austin Healey 3000s.

I also like to play with motorcycles and have about a dozen or so mostly British. My current favorite is a Triton that I've been building up off and on for the last couple of years.

I am beginning my search now for a low-mileage S Type R once I find the right one. I am very interested in the S/C upgrades that are available and plan to use this car as my daily driver as well as running project car.

Thanks to all for all the valuable information I've already learned. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions so thanks in advance for the collective knowledge here.

-Robert

Welcome to the forum Robert,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the S-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the USA Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link USA Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Good luck in the search for the right STR and enjoy the forums.

Graham
