Hi. This is Kaulette from Hamilton Twp., NJ.

I take delivery of my first Jaguar on Friday. YAY!!!!!! I have spent hours all over this forum, which was extraordinarily informative. Thank you to all who have gone before me and posted great FAQ's and Tips, Tricks and Hints!! I have researched the VIN #, I have the breakdown of the VIN # and what everything means, I even have the warranty code and the sales code.
I have no owner's manual and no idea what options even work in the car. I have a button that looks like it would be for a bluetooth and I have one that looks like it would be for a phone but I don't know if they work. OR if they work, how to set them up.
This is what I know...I have a cd player, I don't have a navigation system. Yup, that's pretty much it. The salesman has no clue, it was the first Jaguar he was up close and personal with. I don't know where to go with this.
Currently I have a Mitsubishi with satellite radio and bluetooth. I would like to have the same features in My Jag (I have wanted to say that for 25 years) along with the ability to charge/play my phone.
I know nothing about cars and schematics and I am looking to do this on the not too expensive side.
Any ideas??

welcome Campy! Most likely you'll just get a few hello's over here in this area, but when you get your car, drop by the s-type section and post up a pic or two, then ask about those phone features. Enjoy your new car, try to get some ZZZzzzs.

It's going to seem forever until Friday comes round!

The In-Car Bluetooth Telephone Handbook for my XK8 is a generic publication covering XJ, XK and S-Type models. It's unlikely you'll have Jaguar Bluetooth fitted in a 2003.

Once you get the car, head over to the S-Type section with the phone questions and the guys there should be able to identify exactly what is fitted.

I agree with Graham the bluetooth is unlikely, there are a few threads in the S section and probably the entertainment one that may help.

Graham, the 2003's got that fancy, large screen w/ Denso navigation...so bluetooth may be standard in those.
