hello everyone, just a brief intro.
just acquired a lovely 2006 s type xs 3.0v6 indigo blue with mercury alloys, charcoal and aluminium interior.
1 previous very careful owner below average mileage and full jag service history - nice :-)

my first jag although I've owned other large cars in the past but by far the nicest is this - i love it ! lets hope it loves me back :-) my father has owned jags since the 70's and is now in his 70's and still driving. i guess it must have worn off on me a bit.

i'm 50, male and from Wales, even my wife is loving the car and has named it jasper. pics are available.

nice to be here, this looks to be a really excellent forum and i'm sure i will learn a lot !!!

Welcome to the forum.

You and me have the same engine and gearbox but in different models. The software with this box is notorious for needing updates, so if you get any fault messages related to the transmission, this is generally what it is all about, NOT a new gearbox.
