Joined a few days ago. I am already amazed at the amount of information available here. Very impressive. I joined to find information on the 03-06 XKR DHC. I am looking to purchase one and wanted to find out which years have what problems, which are more trouble free or easier to fix known problems. In short, what is the best year. I don't know if my signature will contain the following, so pardon if this is a repeat.
'52 XK 120 (sold)
'87 Champagne VDP
'95 rose Bronze XJ12 (looking to sell)
'95 Flamingo XJS (AJ16), 150,000 miles, looking to replace with same or '96
'52 XK 120 (sold)
'87 Champagne VDP
'95 rose Bronze XJ12 (looking to sell)
'95 Flamingo XJS (AJ16), 150,000 miles, looking to replace with same or '96

Welcome to the forum Reid,
Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. Good luck with the search for 'your' XKR.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS tech section for your current Jaguar so no need for a link to it from me. Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Southern MidWest Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/southern-midwest-ar-la-ms-ky-tn-al-67/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forum.
