I just joined this forum as I bought an '03 X-Type a few weeks ago. The facts listed in the thread "X type faq " quick links" have helped me immensly. I have the squeeky sterring column, and even though I knew how to program my key fob (it wasn't working) I didn't know how to make both of them work. I'd do one, and then the other wouldn't work, and so on. And the buzzing behind the dash was driving me crazy, much less embarrasing. Glad to know it wasn't a problem with the airbags (which I first thought it could be). Thanks guys, I can see I'm going to enjoy this forum. Hope someday I can even contribute.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I hope to get the post count up when I'm able to contribute and not just ask for help. I do know to search as I'm very experienced with message boards. RickMG on many cigar boards, Palm Treo board and City Data board. New to Jags but will help whenever I can. I've got pics up in an album, and will add one of myself. In the meantime you can see more about me than you'll ever want to know on my myspace or facebook pages. I have them to keep track of the grandkids (really). Thanks again.
