New X-Type Owner + Question
First time Jaguar owner. I let my wife pick out any car she wanted I just required it be AWD. We recently found a good deal on a 2002 Jaguar X-Type 2.5L Sport. We picked it up 3 hours away from our house and about an hour away from home the check engine light came on and the car developed a miss.
I checked the codes and it indicated an issue with a miss on cylinder 6. I contacted Jaguar and they said the most common cause was a bad coil. In the process of replacing the coil I noticed there was oil around the plugs on the bank closest to the front of the car. Looking through the hole the coil goes in I noticed there is an empty threaded hole. Can anyone tell me if this should be empty?
Sorry for asking questions right away but I cant seem to find a good picture online to show if this is normal.
Thank you!
