Finally got around to joining after having seen so many helpful posts over the years. Started my interest in the marque with my fathers series 2 XJ 4.2 in the 70's which took us all round Europe for ten years. My own involvement started when I acquired a 5.3 XJS which I still think of fondly and from there moved to a Daimler double 6 (6.0 litre). After a spell with family Volvo estates I aquired a 2005 XJ X350 LWB 4.2 Supercharged fully kitted out with TV / DVD / Games Consul etc and even a Compass in the mirror . Such a fantastic car. Sadly been off the road since moving to Ireland a few years ago due to penal road tax. Now in the process of dealing with the issues which have accumulated while being in the garage including the usual air suspension leaks.
