Default New XJR owner and New to the Forums

After years of drooling over these cars and looking at a few bad apples I finally found a 99 XJR in great condition and decently low miles so I am enjoying and can't wait to add some goodies. I just moved to the ATL to start graduate school so if your in the area you will probably see me prowling around. I need a leaper for the front it was missing it when I picked it up, but I absolutely am addicted to the car.

Welcome to the forum ATLXJR99,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. Great colour for a Jaguar and looks so much better in States where you don't have to have a front plate fixed on.

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

No the leaper is just missing : ( I need one pretty bad I also need a rear lower seat portion due to a small rip and a new drivers seat it has a few small places as well but it is a 99. I found a 98 venden plas that I may be picking up as a parts car. It is clean it just has no motor and tranny, but for $400 i think it will be my cheapest route to fixing my little nuisances.

Thanks for the welcome I have just been getting settled in to my new place, hopefully about to start working on the jag soon. It has been shear joy owning the xjr it is a very bi polar car very well mannered and smooth but its ready to turn into a tire shredding monster. I got some red light action with a c5 a few days ago and it was a close race for sure. Now i just need more power lol.
