Hey all,
I'm happy to be a new member. I've been reading posts on this forum since before I bought my Jaguar( took me over a year to get it). It is 1995 all black xj6 4.0l. a classic car that is addictive to drive. It is my first car since moving out of my mom's house and becoming independent. Unfortunately I have already encountered problems but some things were wrong before I bought it and I knew the risk. I really love all jaguars and hope that fixing mine will lead to a greater understanding and maintenance in the future. There is a wealth of knowledge on these boards that I would like to tap into.
I just starting to learn more about these unique cars so please welcome me in as a beginner.

Congratulations on your Jaguar!
Actually, one can expect a few problems from Any 20 year old car, no matter how well they were cared for until that point. Having found your way here, however, you can get those things fixed. Look at it as a bonding experience between you and your car.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
