Default newbie

recently bought a 2000 black on black xk8 convertible. hands down the sharpest ride in town(and only xk8).unfortunately tail lights not working.replaced lamp module(before i found the forum) and it burned up also. saw the thread about grounding light assemblies. did this-thanks-but the tabs on the assys looked pristine with no heat damage.i'm reluctant to plug in 2nd new module($150 on line)and turn on lights.help.
