Hi all, just took the plunge 2 weeks ago and got a 2003 MY STR my first Jaguar!
Always thought I would own one eventually as my sis has had a few and I was always envious! Took me 30 years to decide tho
Thought about fuel prices but decided what the ell it's now or never! Lol

Found this forum while searching for the dreaded management light which the selling dealer showed me a print out with code P0171 and offered to knock me £350 off sale price if I took it as is, after a quick google found the forum and decided its fixable so here I am hoping I've made the right decision!

Welcome to the forum Phil,

Good choice for a first Jaguar - nothing like starting well up the ladder!

Fuel prices - - I remember when I could put £5 of 5 Star in an XJ6 and go somewhere - now it would only get you off the forecourt!

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help and advice. The guys there will give you all the information you need to resolve the DTC issue.

Enjoy the STR and the forum.

Graham

It takes 3 days membership AND a minimum 10 posts. At the time I'm replying to this, you need another 6 posts.
